Broker candidates must obtain a total of ninety (90) classroom hours, thirty (30) hours for broker preparation and an additional sixty (60) hours of other related course topics. The sixty (60) hours must also include nine (9) hours of civil rights law and equal opportunity in housing. 

In Michigan, to become a licensed real estate broker, the applicant needs to take either ninety (90) hours of online or in class instruction.  The candidate for real estate broker license, must then pass with a score of seventy percent (70%), a final exam for either online or on ground courses.

After successfully completing the real estate brokers training courses, the applicant must then take and pass the Michigan state brokers licensing exam administered by PSI Exams

  • Property transfer, including settlement, closings and operating expenses
